Pedro Deltell Colomer studied cinematography at the CECC school in Barcelona. In spite of innumerable adversities, she made several short films, including “Sec 13 Casa de Lidia Int / Día” in 16mm.
After an arduous journey as a second-rate filmmaker, he decided on the documentary. In the period as a documentary filmmaker he made the film “The visual voice” about the survivors of the bombing of Gernika in collaboration with the German photographer Pia Kuhlmann and a documentary series about the search for a roommate in Berlin “Meine schöne WG”.
Tired of such reality, he switched to video art, joining the Visual Berlin and TorpeDeArte collectives with which he has made various live cinema, veejay and interactive audiovisual installations.
In addition, he is producing in collaboration with other artists the animated series that will definitely illuminate the minds and hearts of East and West: “The Poketmon Project”.
Pedro Deltell Colomer is currently immersed in an improvisational film project called ESimprocine. With him he has made 12 episodes in two web series and won 5 international awards in addition to having participated in other good amount festivals all over the world.
At the same time he works for the German public television RBB as animator and designer. Previously, she worked in various production companies of corporative animation. Here you can see some of their animation videos:
He went through Palestine and Bosnia to help young filmmakers shoot fiction short films in a Goethe Institut project with Lost Sense Media.
Previously he made a series of animation The “Poketmon” with which he was a finalist in the RTVE awards INVI.
In the Visual Berlin and TorpeDeArte collectives he also made several live cinema, veejay and interactive audiovisual installations projects.
